Garden view room was a little tired but clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent along with the waiting on staff service. Concierge services were really helpful - lots of good advice. Bar was well stocked, and Location was very good, 10-15 mins walk from the metro station.

As a longtime Titanium member with 1,300+ Marriott nights, we are grateful for having had the privilege of enjoying Presidential Suites all over the world — but this is one here in Lisbon you will never forget, mainly because you Europeans have it all over the States when it comes to world-class hotel accommodations. You definitely know how to do “luxury.” Not only are there 3 balconies to take in the incredible views from the 18th/top floor Presidential Suite, but you have over 1100’ in which to sprawl out in a King Bedroom with door, living room with couch and chairs and a giant work desk, even a dining room table for 6 just off from a convenient kitchenette with mini-refrigerator/freezer, kettle and espresso machine. The bathroom is spectacular all by itself: dual sinks, enormous jacuzzi tub, separate roomy shower and the toilet area behind a privacy door. Towels and bathroom accessories galore, of course. At the front door as you enter the suite, there is another guest bathroom, with toilet and sink. The lighting throughout is excellent, with 2 large TVs should you be able to pull yourself away from the lovely views. Fitness room is well-equipped with stretching mats, Bosu, machines, Universal and free weights. And if you’ve worked up an appetite, there is light fare at the lobby bar, and a full menu in the restaurant below. Lots of places to sit inside and out, especially poolside for a sparklingly refreshing dip. For Elite members, the lobby-level lounge is a welcome retreat. Housekeepers and staff were all so delightful and helpful whatever your needs. We cannot be more grateful for the special handling provided us by Front Office Manager Susana, it was so very appreciated. As was the friendly call from her associate Tatiana, who telephoned the room to make sure all was well. Well-deserved kudos to GM Elmar for the very good show he runs here, our stay was truly one for the memory books!

Not really what l expected from a Marriott. We are Bonvoy elite members and stayed one night before checking into a conference venue. The staff was all lovely, but the air conditioning in our room was abysmal. We notified the front desk before leaving for the afternoon and dinner, but on our return, there was zero improvement. In addition, we had issues getting the lights to work, despite inserting the key into the slot by the door correctly. This mysteriously suddenly rectified itself (after they offered us another room, and as we were exhausted we just decided to stay where we were. However, then we discovered that it was impossible to adjust the temperature of the water in the shower! Thank goodness we only stayed one night. We won’t be back and honestly it pains me to say give this hotel a hard pass.

My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel, and were extremely disappointed at the level of attention paid to their guests. We were told we couldn’t upgrade using Bonvoy points, but we upgraded anyway for 75 euros…..didn’t help. We sweltered in our room for two days and nights due to extremely poor air conditioning. Literally laying in a pool of sweat. Repeated calls to the desk were answered, and assurances given, but nothing was done. They kept saying that it would be looked after. It wasn’t. I can’t imagine this room in the dead of summer! I still stand behind the Marriott brand, but will never return to this particular hotel.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Lisbon Marriott. The room was very nice, with a comfortable king-size bed and scenic view. The house services were exemplary, with coffee, tea, and soap replenished every day unrequested, and a turndown visit nightly with lovely chocolates left behind. The hotel personnel that we encountered were all gracious and professional, including those at the front desk who checked us in, the concierge, the porters, the Citrus restaurant personnel, and the waitstaff at the executive lounge. Regarding the latter, it is hard to imagine a more hardworking group of people, helpful, thoughtful, and efficient. All were excellent, but David stands out particularly. He assisted my wife by bringing her ice when she injured her leg and demonstrated genuine concern. Not to be overlooked, the food in the executive lounge was delicious and plentiful. Though the hotel is located a few kilometers from many of the main tourist attractions in Lisbon, that did not pose a problem for my wife and me since we love to walk. Moreover, with the assistance of the knowledgeable concierge, we booked a couple of excellent day tours outside of Lisbon that picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. On the days that it rained heavily we contacted Uber, easy to use and reliable, to get to some incredible museums.
